Tuesday Tour – March 1, 2011

What a beautiful day it was today to go look at properties!  I had on my list about a dozen properties to see for 4 different buyers.  They ranged from 1 bedroom condos asking $248,000 in Potrero Hill to loft/warehouse space asking $2,249,000 in Dog Patch.  There are some really fantastic places up for grabs right now.

Here are my top 3 of the day:

$248,000 Condo – 2250 24th Street, #128 – 1 Bedroom/1 Bath condo in Potrero Hill.  It’s in walking distance to The Mission with parking and close proximity to public transportation.  It’s bonus to also have a little outdoor balcony.  At this asking price, it’s a great value.  It’s a short sale, so buyers should be patient.  (Listed by Zephyr)

$1,595,000 Condo – 778 Clayton Street – 3 Bedrooms/2 Baths in Haight Ashbury.  This condo took my breath away.  This is a classic Victorian turned modern.  “artfully renovated 1896 Victorian w/ 3BR+Office/2BA & over 2,600 sq ft of living space on 2 levels. Winner of California Home & Design’s Interior Design Award in ’09 and recipient of numerous international acclamations including a write-up in NY Times, this home is truly an architectural gem. Featured on the AIA tour in ’09, the residence embodies green living, historical preservation, & creativity at its finest.” (Listed by Sotheby’s)

$2,249,000 Warehouse/Residence – 690 18th Street – 2 Bedrooms/2 Baths in the Dog Patch.  From the outside, you think it’s just a huge industrial warehouse.  On the inside, the owners meticulously converted a portion of the space into a very chic, sexy, comfortable living space.  The living space is noted as approximately 3,400 square feet.  The attached warehouse is approximately 4,000 square feet.  There are plans to make the warehouse into an art space.  This is truly and unusual space for the right person.  (Listed by Vanguard)
